Pro Tools does come with some nifty plugins out of the box, but if you want to grab a few more then try these: I don't know if UA will provide this new version (like with 1.07) specially for UAD user for free or not.Although thin on the ground, there are a few free RTAS plugins to be had if you know where to look. It is not perfect but much fluent than before. When a vst version exists, I just wrap it. Then PT is much more stable and I have less -9218 errors or others.ģ) I also reduced the Police smoothing option in the Preferences/Appearance (don't know the exact term in English) so that the window refresh gets faster into Tiger.Ĥ) I also remove non-optimized plug-ins also (and so keep my UA ones as I have the new wrapper) to prevent from unwanted stop and DAE errors in playback/record. Multi out isn't available on this RTAS version. Now with VST2RTAS v2 version of the same Kompakt 1.03, I have the same CPU usage with 128, 256 1 processor than with 512 / 1 processor and the RTAS version. the same with 512 buffer and more is better but
with low buffer (128 or 256) and 1 OR 2 processor : CPU is very instable and is quickly maxed out with a single Electric Piano track I've just made a test with Kompakt 1.03 (which is not the last version but is weird even with PT6) : Hi, I had the same problem (change G4->G5, Digi001->M-Audio Audiophile FW, Panther->Tiger, add iLok, only have 2 internal HDs insead of 3, etc) and was about to get back to 6.x but.ġ) VST-to-RTAS bring a great improvement to plug-ins and PT7 compatibility. I'm not sure which of these new elements are giving me the problem or if it's a combination and I haven't had the time to really sort through it all.
I've been having a lot of trouble since updating to PTLE 7.0, a Digi 002R, and a second UAD-1 with the Flexi-Pak providing the MultiBand and Roland pair.
